Speculation: West Shroud will be released in patch 2.1 to accompany King Mog

Unlike Thanalan and La Noscea, which only had large but ultimately inconsequential trimmings to their maps since 1.0, the Black Shroud lost an entire region. The West Shroud was primarily used for the quest to access Good King Moggle Mog, which involved solid snaking through a bunch of lv 90 treants to kill a series of NMs, which themselves required a full party to down successfully. Here's hoping we get a new(ish) region to accompany the return of the good king.

I don't anticipate Coerthas will be restored to its former glory until Ishgard is released in patch 2.x (speculated to be 2.3 or later?). If you look at the old version of Coerthas, huuuuge chunks are missing between the zone lines to Mor Dhona and North Shroud.
