Any way to get top gear without repeating dungeons?

I did a bunch of searches and all signs point to no, but I wanted to make sure I was not missing something.

Make gil then buy the components and make crafted level 70 gear sets with max melds. Requires no personal dungeon farming on your part.

This will give you more than sufficient gear to do Coil of Bahamut where you can earn drops (without repeating the currency grind).

This would be my recommendation to get the most enjoyment out of endgame in FFXIV, however it will take considerably longer than grinding would.

Any way to win the lottery without buying a ticket?

Make gil and buy crafted is one option.
Other option is to take it slow till 2.1 when missing tiers of progression (one of the 3 new dung is likely to be ilv65 and/or ilv70 and the ilv80 raid) are added and then you likely never realy need to grind for gear as we see it now.
