HEALERS vs the world!!
Im posting this for all healers who are blamed for the stupidity of others in a grp/pug. Its like no one is paying attention to dumbass over here standing in a blatant AOE indicator! Listen people healers are not to blame for you not understanding fight mechanics and your job in general. if a party member besides the healer dies and has to be rezzed numerous times its not the healers fault especially if you top them off before jumping back on the tank (the person your focus should be on anyway!).
Seriously where did this trend come from? ive encountered so many DPS who think the healer should heal them thru a boss major AOE (yeah the one with the big ass sign saying "hey guy I am about to attack you, you might want to dodge")
Now if they survive I jump off tank try to top them off before tank is in danger but if we wipe don't shout "no heals". Why is the community standard to be against the same people keeping you alive!!!
seriously WTF people.

If the tank dies, it's the healers fault.
If dps die, it's the healers fault.
If the healer dies, it's the healers fault.
I've come to expect this attitude from most DF groups. Luckily, I don't use DF much.
I went to help in storymode Garuda one time and the dps that was with us wouldn't move behind the rocks.
His reason was that I could just rez him if he died so it didn't matter if he took damage.
Easy way to solve this is to just stop healing them.
They soon learns that they get my heals if they're a proper part of the team and do what they're supposed to.
Sure, they kick and scream and call you a noob, but they'll move from an aoe the next time one appears ;)

those are horrible players who dont move out of wat, its not healer fault its the stupid dps and tanks who dont dodge and try to play blame nope its always there fault for being horrible players i just leave dont got time for it.

I have personally never encountered this problem in XIV yet, but I know it existed in early WoW (Vanilla to TBC), but it started to die off later, and became super rare from what I could observe.
Just let it pass, leave the group, wait 15 min, while you lauigh at the DPS that has to wait for way more than that.
Go and get a cup of coffee/tea.
Watch a YT video.
Take the dog for a walk.
Farm some material.
Lots of random stuff you can do while waiting!
Never let random people get on your nerves :)
Me personally, I only heal people that deserves my heals.

DPS blaming me when they're clearly at fault themselves actually makes me laugh. I enjoy it when stuff like that happens.
-
In most of my cases that I've been blamed, I was also able to turn it right back at the DPS or Tank. You should be able to pay attention to a lot of things seeing as you aren't staring at a monsters face or ass the entire fight.
They call you out for being 'bad,' you call them right out again. You don't want to stoop to their level? Move on and enjoy life. You have no reason to care about their thoughts if you aren't at fault.

Yeah...People like to blame healers. I feel like there should be disclaimers in mmo's "warning, you are rolling a healer...Please be prepared to be blamed for everyone elses incompetence, and if the group succeeds, receive no praise, because the tank and the dps clearly did their jobs well."
-
Nobody likes to admit they've made a mistake, so it's easier to point the blame at someone else. So healers take the heat for a lot of BS.

I try to set some expectations at times if I have knowledge of the content.
E.g. Amdapor Keep, might say, "Heads up, I may be unable to heal through the Dullahan's AoE / Succubus AoE / Big Golem's AoE) in hopes that t'will give folks some responsibility to their preservation or at least the realization that I was not kidding.

I was in a DF party today for hard mode Ifrit. Half of my party was getting hit by AOE's. The other healer died, but we were past the nails, so it's all dodging attacks and stuns here on out. LB3 is almost ready, and now 4 people are dead, so I go to use the LB3 to res everyone. At this point I have been healing everyone myself for about 8 minutes and I have about 1/4 of my MP remaining. LB3 fills up and I go to use it. This stupid Monk beats me to it and then starts demanding to know why I haven't bothered to res anyone yet. Needless to say, we got wiped.on the second try, we got past the nails and so far only 1 DPS is dead. Myself and other healer are fine. LB3 is full, but it'd be overkill to use it to res 1 person when everyone is near full health. Well that very same Monk and one other person failed to dodge another aoe and they both died. I immediately go to use the healer LB, and the Monk abandons the duty, so our LB bar can only be filled twice, so no resurrecting anyone.
