DoL - More DPS please

And you would be quite correct, if I wasn't being serious. But I am, so hear me out.

Please give all DoL more DPS in their auto-attacks.
Why? I hear you cry.
Do you want to now start farming and fighting while you are on your Botanist/Miner/Fisher? No, would be my answer.

The reason I do want more DPS, is so that when I am gathering and running between the 4-5 nodes, and that pesky little bug/flower/cat/etc. that is 5 levels below me, keeps aggroing me, and annoying me - I can smash it's annoying little face in, and carry on satisfied that the little punk shouldn't mess with someone carrying a large Axe/Pickaxe/[Fishingpole(?)]

Yes yes yes... I know I can stealth, but it walks slowly.
Yes yes yes... I know i can change classes, but then I lose GP changing back.
Yes yes yes... I know I can run away and they don't chase far, but that is not satisfying.
Yes yes yes... I know I can fight now, and I do - but it takes 5 minutes to kill anything, and I nearly die in the process.

I'm not asking for much, i don't want abilities, I don't want exp for kills, I don't want drops from kills.
I do want to, as a Botanist say, use my trusty Hatchet that has felled so many trees, cleave that annoying rose-petal-triffid in two

I'm not asking for this anytime soon, or to take precedent over the many things which need to be addressed sooner.

But, at some point please just add a few more higher digits to our Axe/Pick/Pole so that I no longer need to fear the piddling and annoying mobs which sometimes like to chase me from my gathering spots.
