A small suggestion to improve grouping

I've been doing some hardcore grinding lately between small parties (2-3 members), soloing, and full parties with behest, and there are often times when one has to take the time to disband a party in order to go into another one. Makes sense right?

The suggestion is to simply allow a party leader to invite another party into his own. This is very much like forming alliances in FFXI except it's putting everyone in one party. Admittedly this is sole for sake of convenience but it would allow things to run much smoother, especially for events like Behest.

Well, that was the game original idea...a party of 15 ppl was supposed to be an easier way to play alliances...its dead now tho.

But i do think your idea do makes sense...you mean a "merge invite", right? So the inviting PT would automatically receive the invited party members if their leader accept the merge invite, right?

Its not a bad idea indeed. Would make things much easier for both sides...but for this would be interesting some kind of "party status" option when you target someone already in party so you could check the other party situation (like number of members, classes and rank)...or else it would still need effort asking number of members, party rank, if they want to join, etc.

That came to mind as well. Specifically it would need to be indicated who is the party leader so you can send an invite. As for party status though I thought of this:

-Party A and Party B both have four members.
-Party Leader A invites a member from Party B.
-The system says "This character is already in a party" and shows a window showing the members of Party B, then asks "Would you like to merge parties?"
--If Party B had five members instead of four, the option to invite wouldn't show up.
