[Suggestion] More tabs per chat frame / Navigate chat with gamepad

I'd like to be able to put the tabs of my 2nd chat frame into the first chat frame instead of having two frames. And I'd like to be able to navigate through these frames using my gamepad, like in Final Fantasy XI. This means that I want to focus the chat frame with push of a button on my gamepad instead of clicking on it with my mouse. This would be a lot more comfortable.

I'd want the same functionality of activating the chat log for the keyboard. I don't like using the mouse. In the first place, why enable keyboard-only (or game-pad only) play otherwise only to block some functions. :/

My suggestion? Make it like FF11, where the equivalent of hotkey B (by default) cycles through chat log and statuses.

They did add the option to filter through chat modes, yes, but for the log, I am in agreement that they need to allow us to be able to filter among chat logs from: say, tell, linkshell, shout, and general or battle. general can be omitted with the implementation of those filtering options while battle can remain.
