GC items. Worth it?

Currently I am a lvl 38 bard, with enough rested exp and quest available that I'll reach 40 soon. Currently I walk around in pink/green/white gear that I got from either brayflox, Sunken, or just quests.
I farmed a lot of fates on my pug and lancer and my main as well so I have lots of GC seals (Twin Adder). I maxed my rank for now and I have around 20K of seals laying around. I was wondering if it is worth it to buy GC gear. This for either my Bard itself, or perhaps for my Miner or Leatherworker.
So, is it worth it? Or should I rather wait so I can buy the barding for my chocobo (or perhaps something else? Tips appreciated!).

Well... at 50 you can use the GC lvl 50 bow while you wait for "primal name here" bow or your relic weapon. For chocobo barding, I'd only do if you're planning on doing the achievement for buying it from all 3 factions (or unless you just want it :p). Armorwise most of it will be obsolete by 45 when you get your artifact armor set (minus the coat).

Hmmm ok. So not worth it. And the barding just looks awesome, I have to spend it on something. Another Q then. Right now I don't consider dungeon farming worth it because I am going to replace it soon anyways. What dungeon should I really start farming?

I bought the level 41 THM weapon to tide me over until I got a level 44 dungeon upgrade. GC weapons seem they're pretty good if you don't have dungeon loot stashed away for your alt classes.

In terms of endgame Amdapor Keep (lvl 50) is one of the favored dungeons as you farm two types of tomes to exchange for the current endgame armor sets. As you said, farming dungeons now would only have items replaced.
Until then I wouldn't "farm" dungeons per se. Just focus on getting to 50 via quests, dungeons, fates, etc.

So beforehand it is not worth it to farm dungeons? I heard lots of people complain that end game players aren't geared well enough. Thanks for the answers so far btw :)

If you get your artifact set (complete bard quests through 50) and a level 40ish bow you should be good to start off with. Even a basic lvl 50 bow will help while you farm AK. AK also drops a bard set called Toxotes. But its random and you compete with the other player's sets.

That answers all my questions, guess ill save my GC seals for now then.

the 44 lvl weapon, and after one run of amdapor keep the 50 lvl one is a must imho
unless you have the 47 lvl pink one somewhere from 47 dungeon

of course it´s worth it to buy gear. makes the leveling to 50 a lot easier. If you like something else then mindless Fate grinding, then go for it.
