A relic reborn bug

Hi a friend of mine got d/ced at hydra. She has the relic weapon and all the quest finished till that point. She came back online a few minutes later, the hydra was gone and the quest gone as well. She went back to see the blacksmith and it said she needed the materials again?

Anyone know if this glitch is widespread? Shes super disappointed and she might quit the game cuz she worked so hard to get this far. If anyone have any ideas, please reply. she sent in a bug report. But idk if that will even work.
