Game Crashing Every 5 Minutes

I just recently picked up an hp envy 14-1260se laptop because I got a good deal off my friend who wanted to get a new laptop. I thought since I have a decent laptop, why not try FFXIV? Tried the benchmark and it said I was more than fine, so I purchased the game.

While I'm playing, the game seems to crash every 5 minutes, but odd enough, it usually only happens when I'm not in town. The screen goes black with white stripes, and my whole laptop reboots itself. Only once has A Realm Reborn closed without rebooting the laptop, and I had a notification saying my graphics driver stopped responding.

I did a clean install of windows 7 when I got the laptop, and all my drivers and windows and everything are up to date. The card on this laptop is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, and my current catalyst version is 13.8 beta 2, although i've tried numerous catalyst versions at this point, all with the same problem. Could someone potentially help me out? I was really looking forward to playing this game, it was the main reason I even purchased the laptop. Not to mention i've already spent the money on the game itself too.
