Unable to Acess main Story Scenario Quests

sorry if this comes off as thread spamming, somehow my previous thread ended up in "Duplicate Bugs" due mostly to my stupidity and slightly from a bungled customer support system. :p

after compleating "The Lominsan Envoy" the subsequent quest 'Call of the Sea (Limsa Lominsa)" does not apear as it should. i should be able to access it by talking to baderon but i only get the default NPC text from him.

i have had this problem before with the Blacksmith quests in 2011 and they didnt resolve over the next 2 years. me not being able to start the next quest means i won't be able to finish the main scenario. this also means i can't join a GC and all the GC gear i worked to get in 1.0 is useless because i cant equip it. and i believe this also means i cant do some primals or dungeons.

this issue has persisted for about 2 weeks and i have logged in/out quite a bit since then. my computer is an ASUS CM6850 with an NVidia GTX 560ti graphics card. i don't believe the issue lays with my computer but instead is on the server side of the system.

3.talking to Baderon does not give the next quest

Try this:
Go back to Ul'dah.

See if the guard outside at the Royal Promenade has a quest for you saying that he has a message from Baderon of the Limsa Lominsan Adventurer's Guild.

Then you head to Limsa Lominsa and go from there.

strange, i've checked that NPC before and it wasnt there and now it is. also it seems i misread the outline on the quest online and thought i had to talk to baderon first.

Glad to help. Sucks being stuck. A little trick- always wait a few seconds if you haven't gotten the Main Scenario follow up quest. Sometimes the lag means they don't appear for awhile, and then you port or run off before they have a chance to appear. So, always wait for that follow up. Have fun & good luck! :D
