Suspicious Activity?
every time i go to login, it tells me suspicious activity has been detected, so I've had to change my password every time i want to play...
I literally started playing yesterday so it's not like anyone else has my password, and my character is exactly as i left her.
What's the deal?

Are you playing from more than one computer, or receiving a new IP from your ISP every time you restart your computer? (That would be unusual). Basically there is a security measure in place that locks your account whenever you log in from a different IP address than the time before.
In any case, a security token circumvents this issue, but carries it's own annoyances.

This is the only computer I play anything from, I don't think my IP is changing but I don't really know, My computer stays on most of the time anyway

i had to deal w/ this bullshit 3 days ago i went to log in and got a msg saying my account has been frozen due to suspicious activities and that i needed to change my password...... seriously....... It must be suspicious when anyone plays ff14 w/ the craptastic state it is in imo. But i keep playing in the hope that it will improve. But then u got to deal w/ this moronic bullshit. I play only a few nights a week and not often so i must be RMT right???? cus those 10-30 taru RMT conj and THM i see at tranquil and horizon everytime i log on def are not RMT cus real plays name themselves like this " Asdkjjajs Cox" and wear all rank 1 weapons and armor. If this game ever succeeds in becoming PtP it will already have thousands of RMT accounts ready for the milking because its obvious at this point SE doesnt give a shit about it. And Chinese FF14 are u Fing serious thats an open invitation too RMT regardless of a server segregation.

It's a decent security measure, but perhaps requires more customer support than was intended.
