Give that FFXIV: ARR is a modern title, I am surprised a lot of stuff does not automatically update and will only show proper results when you search again.
Player search is one of this.
Example: Player is in free company, they leave free company, if I had search their name before they left, it will not update that status unless I player search their name again.
