PS3 connection/lag in dungeons is unplayable

Okay so every time I run a dungeon it could either be totally fine, or horrible, when it's horrible it's unplayable. First I lag, nothing on the screen moves but me. Then if I catch up, either the enemies or my party, or sometimes both, just decide not to appear on screen. Add to that I randomly get kicked, like during the last run not only did the game stop running, but it signed me out of my PSN account, I didnt even know that was a thing that could happen. This time the game kept running in the BG while PSN tried to reconnect and I eventually had to shut the system down because it was frozen.

I usually play PC so I've done pretty much all the fixes I know how to do on a PC but the PS3 doesnt have all the options to try myself and I literally have no idea what *I* can do to fix them since Squeenix seems content to sit back and watch the world burn :[

I can't even imagine it's my connection alone though because playing on PC I'm fine, same router, same everything, same freaking room, the PS3 version just keeps spazzing out when I try to run dungeons. Is anyone else on the PS3 version getting this? Is my PS3 haunted? is Squeenix a witch?
