Issues with crashing in Sunken Temple

Okay, I give up and throw in the towel :(. I'm at a total loss other than a complete re-install.

I've attempted to run Sunken Temple 4 times now, using various Nvidia drivers, inevitably though, in the second room after the first boss (mildly sunlit room with 2 mobs, 1 face and 1 "death"mob) I crash upon entering the center of the room. After crashing I can attempt to re-log in over and over, but the game won't even begin to load the room, just crashes during the load screen.

Current setup:
Windows 7 - 64 bit
GTX 680 Nvidia
Driver: doesnt matter, tried 327.23 twice, 326.80, 320.49
Intel Core i7-3930k

For the love of all that's holy, please end my frustration.

Begin by restoring any driver overrides to default values.
You could also tweak in-game graphics settings.

In particular, what I have turned off always is the Glare option.
