Can someone check my maths on IB?

it might be wrong.. it might be right, I am just doing aproximations right now (if I am doing it wrong can someone tell me where it went wrong? :)

2.5 Second GCD -> 20 Seconds for IB
2.0 Second GCD -> 16 Seconds for IB

if we assume 1500hp per IB

we are sitting at 75 HP/S for the 2.5 second GCD and 93,75 HP/S for the 2.0 Second GCD that's a diffrence of 18,25 hps. and an average of 7,5% bonus healing gained.

8 Man Setup you got two healers, who for simplicity heal you for 800 with each cure, so that's 1600, that's every 2.5 seconds, so 640 HP/S

688 HP/s With IB Spam for a total of 763-781,75 HP/S
736 HP/s without IB Spam

Now lets add 2 regens, 247,25 with the 7.5%, 299 with the 15%

so we get 1010,25-1029 HP/s with IB Spam, and 1035 HP/s without IB Spam

that's a -25.25HP/s diffrence on the low end and a -6HP/s on the high end of the spectrum

so at a GCD of 2 seconds my IB will heal me for an aproximate value of -96HP

Fixed my stupid error of assuming all skills I can press give me fury... /faceplam

The flaw is the premise that you can use IB everytime it lights up without overhealing yourself, or making the healers overheal.

Dunno about the math since I'm too tired right now, but anyway, anyone spaming IB instead of keeping it for crucial phase is just doing it all wrong. IB is currently only there to be used with CD allowing us to quickly rebuild wrath or followed by convalesence.

I just wanted to have the difference between using IB whenever it's up and just keeping infuriated up, without overheal or taking the nature of the fight into it right now... I did all that at 5 am.. still working on my proper spreadsheets.. just wanted someone to double check it for me

And you are getting a 2.0 GCD as warrior exactly how?

The main thing I will say is that I have been parsing a few encounters and I seem to have an overall 15% crit without Inner Release. That isn't factored into your HPS calculations. If you factored that in, maybe you will surpass that negative?

I think generally assuming 1500 on average from Inner Beast is factoring that in already.

Pretty sure in the OP it was stated that that was theoretical, that even at a 2.0 GCD under ideal circumstances it's still a net loss of healing to use Inner Beast at every cooldown.

It's also worth noting that using it every time it's up is also probably a DPS loss.

Of course, it might not be a healing loss if Infuriate was factored in for every 3rd Inner Beast. But then it would just be less of a loss than only using Inner Beast when Infuriate is up.

one point of skillspeed reduce your cd by 0.001 second

in order to reduce your cd by 0.5 second, you need 500 skillspeed.

and

right now, average 1500 heal on inner beast might happen only with full dps gear.

and

IB heals you for ZERO if you are at full HP.
