Hey guys so I mostly play on pc but when I am on my PS3 I notice for aoe like the Bard flame arrow the circle can be hard to find and/or is all the way on other side so this can lead to a dps loss for me. So is there any way to get it in a generic spot every time?
There's a little white dot that appears when using Flame Arrow and I believe it is always pointed directly infront of you and is perpendicular to your character. Simply aim downwards once you see the white dot. After some practice, its not too bad. You should be able to cast it before your next GCD cycle.
On ps3 you aim where your camera is aiming. Granted not the best in cramped situations but I guess they did not have a choice in this case.
Either way once you get uses to it your camera is usually positioned roughly where ou want the attack as soon as you trigger it. Cannons in cm is great practice.
It just takes practice, but it is in a fixed space relative to your camera and character. Just continue using it and you'll get the hang of it. That said, it would be nice if hitting x to use it didn't always bring up the little submenu thing.
