Got a cat to play

So yesterday (I think?) some guy achieved seemingly impossible and got his girlfriend to play this game. And we thought women didn't exist, did we not?

That's not what this thread is about though, but rather I decided to take his awesomeness to the next level and got my CAT to play this game, but she's pretty lonely as not a lot of cats watch this or interested in MMORPGs in general.

Wow, that is so neat that you were able to tell us something interesting in the hopes that we would go watch your stream so that you can be paid for the ads/malicious code that would be delivered to our systems and eyeballs.
Overall, what an achievement, getting that cat to conspire with you...

Y'know, I assume most players are the same gender as their character, but you are very clearly a Manthra. I know a substantial amount of women who play this game; indeed, this was true of FFXI as well. One of the leaders of my FC is a lady, and my sister and I play together. How can you be so ignorant to think only guys play video games? Have you learned nothing from the controversies at TED, PAX and so forth about women, geekdom, and popular sexism against women?

I've stopped reading PA and following Tycho or Gabe as a result of Krahulik's comments of late, and his defense by the rest of PA. Just ... no more. I don't need to be female for this stuff to be so offensive as to be unconscionable.

Every controversy PA has had in the past 5 years Gabe has apologized and often made some SIGNIFICANT restitution effort, like +$20k to a charity of the offended cause. Not to mention most of with were people getting the wrong idea of a harmless joke, accusing Mike to his face to get him mad, and him saying worse things as a defense mechanism.

What has he done so horrible that it is beyond forgiveness?

I think you are paranoid, Twitch has no real malicious code, and don't get why you think they do. Ads that are standard for the internet, and easily blocked without disrupting the stream. (just like youtube)
