Current DPS Class/Jobs don't interest me :(

Ranged dps usually bores me(except archer). I hate having to stand still and cast a 2+ second spell. I like to hit hard with giant 2h swords. The lancer is the closest that we have to what I want, but it still doesn't feel right. I hope they add additional Classes/Jobs soon, because as of now none of them interest me. I really want to play this game, but I find my self logging out quickly after realizing I have to FATE grind if I want to play any other jobs. I also dislike how each Class/Job is locked to a single role.

2 things that I hope they add soon:

-A 2h sword dps class
-More fun way to level alternate classes

What are 2 things that you would really like SE to change/add?

I still find it odd that they left out Dark Knight as one of the initial jobs.

Because it's the class Eorzea deserves, but not the one it needs right now

try to think of what your preferred Job would have as main class/subclasses and level those while you wait :P that's kind of what i'm doing.. bouncing around MNK/WAR and now leveling BLM in hopes of DRK/RDM

welcome to my world i prefer some type of warrior DPS and the monk and dragoon don't interest me plus the global cooldown seems slower than i'm use to hate to say but found swtor classes more fun

I hate how awesome you are.

You dont have to grind FATEs if you dont like it. I just do it the old way and grind dungeons. Might be a bit slower but at least you get rewarded with good gear.

I am at the point where I can't find the right class also. I have a tank, dps and healer, but I get bored on all of them. I wish there was a stealth class, for that is what I like to play the most, can't believe they didn't incorporate one on day 1 :(

give me samurai, ninja , beastmaster and blue mage and im happy lol
