3 teleport hackers right outside Uldah as I type this

Three VERY obvious teleport hackers RIGHT outside uldah farming level5 nodes as I type this. Do GM's not exist?


I don't understand how this is acceptable. It makes the game look scummy and like a free to play game with RMT, bots, and hackers running ramparts in every part of the world. Go to town, RMT spam in shout, go outside, RMT teleport hacking/bots, go anywhere in the world, first log on, or idle(even in your inn room), get 3+ RMT tells per hour.

Since Logging on this morning, I received 10 RMT tells within 15 mins, then 10 more within 3 hours AFTER blocking the first 10. GM's would have to not exist at all in order for this to happen, it's so obvious if you spend 5 minutes playing the game as a GM you'd get 5+ GM tells and see infinite shouts in major cities.

Clean up your game SE, letting RMT run rampart makes this look like a scummy F2P game, but it's not, it costs $13/month. It will turn a LOT of players off, thus losing you money.

The problem is, considering some people got hacked there's a lot of em on hacked accounts and legit players who bot, so SE can't just go on a banning spree, yet.

You should go inside Uldah on Mateus... Dear god, it's wall to wall botting/hacking RMT's at every quest NPC in the city. I've reported dozens, but realized that the number of characters is actually (literally) in the hundreds. I gave up.

I understand your frustration, but really, I think at this point they just don't have the manpower to handle the huge amount of spam/bots/hacked accounts. How many worlds are there total? 61

I highly doubt that they have the available staff to have one assigned GM per world, probably not even 1 for every 2 worlds, let alone enough to staff the worlds 24/7 to instantly respond to these issues. That's why they've asked us to report them.

Again, I understand this is frustrating. I was trying to get some HQ fleece to finish up my level 50 weaver quest last night. Had to deal with a bot farming the sheep in Coerthas. Thankfully, my husband loves me, he opened a trade window with the bot and stayed there until the sheep killed the bot. Overall, it took 2 hours to find a farming spot, occupy the bot and then go about getting the fleece. Makes me wonder how many of the other sheep camps were manned by bots.

But anyway, they're working on the next patch, the ones after that, the next expansion, addressing current server issues, setting up the world transfer service, etc. It's painful to hear, and even harder to practice, but patience is what is needed right now.

Take a moment to think about your job, a job you probably hate or at least dislike. How do you feel if all the feedback you see from your customers is 'work harder, work faster, I need this addressed now, this is unacceptable, etc.' How hard would you work then? Would you rant that the customer has no idea of the amount of work you do on a daily basis? Remember that though SE is a company, there are real people doing the jobs there and try to be understanding.

Already seeing regular players POS hacking FATEs. Likely using it in dungeons and Primals as well at this point. This is on top of RMTs.

Yeah like 1.0 when a certain LS used it for Ifrit Extreme - It's why this situation is pretty tricky because while they can do a Salvage Ban smackdown, they have so many other things to deal with.

I agree that we do need a bit of patience because SE hasn't had to deal with these issues at this scale before. However seeing as it is obvious they are overwhelmed by the magnitude of the issues and how widespread they are it bothers me greatly to see that they are not actively seeking via hiring methods to build an army of reps to accommodate the player base they have acquired. I understand they shouldn't over-react to the situation and bloat their workforce beyond what they will need after the hype but not reacting is even worse.

I hope once the subs kick in and those that are not staying leave that SE will re-evaluate and quickly make the proper adjustments to help battle the assault of RMT scum that plague this potentially wonderful game.
