Account mail

Is there anyway to send mail between your own characters on your account, providing they are on the same world?

If not it would be nice to see it added.

Nope. You can only send mail to people on your friends list. And to add people to your friends list, they need to be online, and you can't keep 2 characters logged in at the same time from the same service account.

No and it will be not added either based on the previous comments about this by Yoshi and devs. The only option would be to create your own "private" FC and join all your alts (using your friend) to the same FC. Frankly - you'd not be able to use any of the spiritbonded or unique items anyway so it's fairly limited too ...

Pity, just gotta get friendly with an FC member and do some trading then. Would be nice that if you start a new character, you could help by sending useful stuff to each other. Instead of going through the countless hours of gather and create. And they wonder why buying Gil illegally becomes an option for some people.

I don't understand why the Devs think that being able to send mail to an alt is dangerous to the economy. It's available to my alts when I play SWTOR, and nobody is screaming that the feature has ruined the game. Heck, even the F2P crowd isn't complaining about that. ;-)

If the mail-to-alts function is definitely not going to happen, then the Devs need to implement an account-wide storage system, like the one I use when I play GW2.

I like having alts. I get bored looking at the same pixilated rear end. :D I enjoy making new characters, and the Devs have given us a really cool character-creation application. I regret that I can only make eight characters on my server. :(
