How to tansfer XIV data from my 80gb PS3 to new PS3??

Hello, I am going to buy a new PS3 due to my 80gb PS3 shut down couple of times within an hour while playing XIV (overheat problem...) but I am wondering how to transfer my XIV account to new PS3? Thanks.

Um, as long as you sign in on the new PS3 with the same Sony Entertainment Network account as the old one, you should just be able to install the game and start playing.
(At least this is what I assume. It would be pretty stupid if you couldn't do it this way as the game should be tied to your SEN account, not the PS3 ID.)

What kittra said however what you will lose will be local settings like macros and UI changes you may have made in addition to other user defined settings.

Yea shame server side storage for local settings isn't a thing yet for XIV.

There's probably a settings file you can copy over, never experimented with it, but like hell am I going to be re-making macros and all that when the PS4 version is released...
