/hoodup & /headdown options?

I can remember reading something posted about this by Yoshi, or one of the developers but I cannot remember if they planned on ever implementing it.

I would like to see this option, for those who wear the cowls or hooded robes like the healer/Cleric gowns.

I personally skipped the cowl for a number of reasons, one of them being mainly that I hated the appearance of the cowl, but ironically felt like wearing the hood on the white mage robe would look pretty cool.

I don't know, maybe it's a petty idea but I thought it was worth bringing up. xD

he said it would be too much work to change the hood on the whm robe for example, since the hood being down is part of the model and they would have to create new separate models for every race/gender for the hood being up and down

cowls are so ugly. I don't care how good its statuses are, I won't wear it.

The graphics for the White Mage hood were finalised a long time ago. To re-do them now would be inefficient (workflow wise). It would also add in more memory stress for the model itself, as two seperate 3D models would be needed. (Each model takes up memory, if there are 5 white mages, it's not as taxing, but with two model options it would double the memory consumption if two types of WHM AF were on screen at the same time.)

The PS3 is already struggling to cope memory wise, so adding in more models for the sake of putting your hood up on WHM, really isn't worth the expense.
