Do Certain Nodes only appear at certain server time?

I haven't started gathering yet, but have seen some stuff about server time mattering for high lv nodes. I was wondering if this is true. I had seen a guide to it on the forums a while back, but cant find it anymore.

Yes, there are. Primarily used for the high-end bot/min stuff, darksteel/spruce/clusters. Iin Mor Dhona and near Camp DragonHead. Yes they are only around at certain times of the day FFXIV time. Google it to find the timers. :)
