Since the majority of the FFXIV I come in contact with is a festering cesspool that can handle no error in dungeons/primals, I suggest adding practice instances where you simply dodge boss AOEs and special moves.
No DMG is done to the boss only to the player whenever they fail to dodge the boss's AOE or special attacks.
I think this would help a lot of people, they could learn the fights on their own and then join the DUTY once they are comfortable with the fight.
As it stands now, it's hard to practice certain instances when there is at least 1 person who leaves after 1 wipe.
This may also help people affected by the current known issue where players take damage if they are out of the AOE before the AOE warning disappears as they will learn when to anticipate the AOE before it appears. As that is what some people will need to do as the known issue has not yet been fixed.

It's okay in theory, but I'm against making the game any more solo friendly. It's an MMO, people should be forced to interact with others to learn these things.

I agree that it is an MMO, and people should be forced to play together, but in the same regard, when half those players will act like complete jerks if you are not perfect even on your first time through a dungeon. Well it does not make for a fun community where folks feel they can heaven forbid, make mistakes.Quote:
