Asking about the Gods

Does it really matter, what one i pick for my class in the long run. Since i am playing Conjurer with Althyk.

Right now it's entirely aesthetic. The devs said if it ever affected gameplay significantly we would get the option to change.

along the same vein, what exactly does character nameday or whatever its call do? just another aesthetic like deities?

Yep, although they have mentioned ideas like special events for character birthdays and such.

That will be pretty neat. Maybe a small birthday events.
Like a storyline thing Cutscence with the Scions celebrate ya bday and shits. XD Iunno.
