Were there any comments from developers or letters that discuss why we cannot look directly upwards in first person view? I remember 1.0 having this problem and possibly even FFXI as well. We can look straight down, so why not straight up?
I can't imagine it's 'realism' related, since we have full range of motion on the camera in other directions.
