I used my behemoth chocobo armor before I had a chocobo, thinking it would simply be added to my character for later use. So, now it's gone and I don't know how to get another one. Why not make a claims vendor? A One shot in-game mail seems like a pretty lousy way to go about getting people's stuff to them. Not to mention horribly inconvenient for me at the moment lol.

It won't be gone, you should still be able to equip the behemoth armour once you've got your chocobo. I did the same thing, and when I went to the companion window the behemoth armour was available to equip to my chocobo.
Yea I figured it out. Never noticed that companion button on the character sheet.... lol /facepalm
Well I did the same exact thing. I Used my Behemoth armor before being able to have my chocobo as a companion BUT. My behemoth armor does not appear under my companions selection of gear. I'm only able to select and remove the gridanian saddle.... ugh
It's only on the company chocobo and not on the legacy chocobo btw.
