Materia Disappeared

Earlier this week, I had two Savage Aim III materia melded to a Champion's Lance for the Relic Reborn quest. I then proceded to use the weapon until last night when a better weapon dropped. Upon unequipping the Champion's Lance I found that the materia was no longer present. Unfortunately, I did not notice when exactly the materia disappeared - only that it should be there and it is not.

ADDENDUM: Turns out I was just drunk and put the materia in the wrong weapon. My bad.
