FATE "timers" nerfed?

I've heard several players say that the FATE spawn rates have been cut down and some say that they are the same. Is there any confirmation either way from SE themselves that anyone has seen? I've looked otherwise I wouldn't ask.

Standing out in Quarrymill now vs a few weeks ago I don't remember having to stand around for a half hour between fates as often as we do now.

If they were I would not be surprised. I definitely think the devs had not intended fate grinding. They would probably like to see people running more dungeons. I ran 3 yesterday and got some really good exp.

Fates popping are based off Zone population.

So if you are in a lowly populated zone for those fates level ranges, they will have a low pop rate.
