Allowances piling up unused, how to wisely use them at 50?

As title says, since I've hit 50 there just has been no reason for me to do them, I need neither xp, gil or company seals.. even while leveling my secondary classes I just skip leves as FATEs are so much more rewarding XP wise. However it feels like a waste letting allowances collect dust..

Is there any reasonable use for the allowances at level 50?

Kind of wish they had some sort of super-leves for lvl 50s, like burn 3 allowances at a time for a really challenging and really rewarding task. Right now doing them 1 at a time feels like such a mind-numbing chore, with barely any reward to speak of.

use them for your crafting classes. I burn at least 10-20 a week by lvling up crafts its the fastest way to level them up. All u do if find 1 where u can rince and repeat for like 150k xp a hand in when u hand in HQ items, as they give u 200% bonus xp on top of the normal xp u earn as well. Later on as I say u earn like 150k xp a quest which is half a lvl in most cases just for 1 leve

Leves are a godsend for crafting and gathering classes since it gets you out of the regular grind of monotony. Besides that, you might find an upgrade for your gear if you aren't currently leveling gathering/crafting since the rewards can give you common type gear and the treasure chest can potentially give greens or pinks. Otherwise, I'd rather let them stay at 99 than let them dwindle to 50 and suddenly decide on a whim to start a crafting/gathering class.

As others have said, you can use them or leveling crafting and gathering classes, but there's also achievements for doing a certain number of leves, as well as ones for doing certain numbers of unique leves (The game keeps track of which ones you've done). You can try and make a goal of that, go out and help the people of Eorzea!

One little piece of advice for completing unique leves is that for battlecraft and fieldcraft, it only shows you a small number of them (4 for battlecraft, 2 for fieldcraft). However, if you finish a leve and go back to him, he'll have a new selection. The trick is, you don't have to turn in the previous leve to get new ones, and it won't display ones you have on you. Doing this, you can easily snag all the leves from a given camp.

As for tradecraft, you don't have to deal with randomness as they always show you all the ones available, however there's one set you can grab in town, and one set you can grab at the camp (Unlike battlecraft and fieldcraft, where you get the same leves both in town and at the camp). Oh, and fishing fieldcraft leves appear to work just like tradecrafft leves in my experience.

Thanks for your answers! Well it seems that the usefulness of leves is limited to leveling a crafter.. bummer. Really hoped there was a use for them at 50 too.

You can get GC seals through the GC leves which use from your allowance.
