Please bring 1.0 Battle themes back!

I don't have much to complain about this game. However, the Battle Themes in all areas are nearly the same and have the same beat. it kinda gets old after awhile and I have to look towards Youtube for Variety of music to listen too.

In 1.0 Every Area had it's on Unique theme and I loved them all. I really hope for them to return in 2.0. Everything else about this launch is great and having a blast just more Diverse battle themes for each area like in 1.0.

I personally like the music fading out every now and again, it lets you listen to the awesome ambient noises.

The problem is more often than not it just fades away for like 30 minutes or so. Or just forever like it does in dungeons, where the theme only plays for... 30 seconds?

IMO, dungeons need to have their themes looped, and there needs to be an option to switch off the battle theme transition for common fights. Right now, the only dungeons that have constant, looping themes are Meridianum and the Praetorium.

I'm not saying remove the boss themes, but instead make the common battle theme toggle-able, and allow those who want to listen to the dungeon song during the run do so.

If it's ambient noise you wanna hear - just mute the BGM. I kinda believe that dungeons have that feel that's ruined by the way things are now.

I'm going to be blunt here. I think the normal battle themes for A Realm Reborn are terrible.

Well,actually, I quite like the new ARR battle themes, even if the main overworld battle theme is repeated across all zones, with variations in arrangement depending on the zone (Coerthas's one has a harpsichord and organ for instance) - most of Uematsu's 'normal' battle themes in 1.0 were just grinding guitars, although I did like The Forest's Pulse (the 1.0 Black Shroud battle theme). A number of 1.0 battle themes are already in ARR too anyway (a la, The Promise of Plunder, Nemesis, Primal Judgement to name a few, so it's not like Soken has entirely scrapped the original OST in favour of his own work.

As for the fading out of zone themes, I noticed this seems to be frequently asked of SE but each time they reply with a 'working as intended' thing and state that the music is meant to fade out depending on where abouts in the zone you are, and not just have a single theme play over and over across the entire zone, so hence, I don't think they'll change their minds anytime soon.

At least make "different" themes for each zone ( if it's not the 1.0 themes) because really to me, it's 1 battle theme in all open world zones.

Yes that is how they want it to be, but do I and other like it? Just because it's working as intended doesn't mean I should not express how I feel about it ( for the first time).

Music and ARR is awesome, just the normal battle theme ( Variety) and Toggle for the fading music. That's all. Everything else is music to my ears! :D

Bring back 1.0 music, I miss the area/feel of the old Coerthas and it's music.
