I pre-ordered the game through GreenManGaming, and was under the impression that I was supposed to receive 30 days of game time + 7 days of free time because of all the issues they had with the server on launch.
Why is it that I was charged 22 days early, on the 15th? >_<
Were you a 1.0 player? 1.0 account only had 15 days free and the 7 days extra. Our free time ran out on Tuesday (which is 17th, not 15th which is a Sunday?). The 30 days with the game itself can only be redeemed on new accounts.
I was not a 1.0 player. I actually tried the game out from a friend, and hated it back in 1.0, so I never bought it >_<
Oh well ignore everything I said so far then, sorry! :D
Just to clarify, who were you charged by, SE or GMG? SE send out an email 5 days before they charge you and then another at the point they actually charge you (at least they did for me) so if it was SE, do you have those emails?
GMG charged me for my game back when I bought it. SE charged me for my sub a few days ago. I don't have a CC on the account, they just disconnected me at 2AM stating that my account was no longer valid, and I paid my sub with Crysta.
Same exact issue (bought from GMG too). I submitted a ticket. Will update here as to how things go.
Same here Shekalo, submitted a petition the other day, waiting on a response, but I don't expect one til Monday or Tuesday. I'm sure they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy backed up. lol

We have checked your account and can see that you first registered the 1.0 version of the game in 2010. Unfortunately 1.0 players who returned to the game were welcomed back with 14 days worth of free game time, not the full 30 days you received when registering a new game. You also received the 7 free days as recompense for server issues, which is why your trial would have lasted until now.

SQUARE ENIX ARE YOU SERIOUS? I've bought your game TWICE now. TWICE. I bought original 1.0. I then rebought FFXIV (ARR) to get the early access and 30 days' free game time.
This is absolute abhorrent customer service.
Absolute rubbish.
What -probably- happened is that you only put in the PRE-ORDER code, and not the full registration code of the new version you purchased. Maybe somehow their servers thought you had purchased software but you never did, so maybe you got a "freebie" somehow.
I was 1.0. I pre-ordered a new collector's edition to get the loot and the early access. I entered my pre-order code only, and was charged for my monthly fee at the same time you were. However, I still have an EXTRA registration key that can be put toward a new account, and I would imagine you do too - maybe check your receipts/emails from GMG? I am saving it in case a friend wants to play. If you enter that full registration key, I imagine they'll give you that 30 days. Or save it like me. Or sell it.
The 30 days with 2.0 are only for new accounts. You can't add those 30 days to 1.0 accounts. The only exception is if you buy the PS3 version of 2.0 and add that code to the same service account, then you'll get another 30 days as well (it basically won't let you have 2 copies of Windows FFXIV on the same service account).
