I'm stuck on Titan (HM)..

This is pretty much the last thing I need for my Relic. Being Australian I'm already hindered by the amount of base delay I have, If I stop for 2s I'll get hit by AoE that I'm not even in. I'll be other side of the map then just get hit off. It's not him or his mechanics, it's the playerbase, sometimes I lose my cool and may get a tad verbal, but when you're on your 57th attempt and it's the same thing everytime you cannot keep your cool.

Someone will die, I get the blame because I'm trying to dodge AoE and they get hit by something and I cannot heal them in time and then they quit and the cycle repeats, 15 minutes is a such a low time for wasting 40 minutes of another persons. This isn't fun Square-Enix, I thought End Game would have been fun, I understand Titan is deemed as the hardest out of the 3, seemingly as Ifrit and Garuda were easy.

I'm yet to ever ragequit a dungeon/boss. Simply because it was the same with Hydra, 20 times later the same group we made it. We corrected our mistakes and got it done. Then we did Ifrit with no deaths and same with Garuda.
If I could pay to skip this stupid boss, I would simply because it's agitating me more than it should. Adding in Australian delay and ragers this isn't fun at all. I know his formation pretty much off by heart, but no matter how much I know it I'll get hit sooner or later and when I do someone will quit, even if I survive.

I understand you completely. I have been wiping at Titan for the last 10 days.

Although since Tuesday our FC got organized and started a regular Schedule of Titan runs. Everyday we improve, being yesterday our best day.
I believe if it wasn't for that unexpected emergency maintenance we could have beaten the damm thing.

So i think the key is to get into an Static group of players committed to doing that content again and again until you beat it.

Also would like to note that lately it has been a lottery of when nobody is having issues. Sometimes one of our healers DC with error 9000. another time is our meele that has a sudden spike lag and gets hit by a Landslide or Plume, or any other problem.

I hope SE fixes the server issues, this fight is hard enough without the Trolling of the server...

Part of that is true though, only like 1 person in MY FC has beaten Titan (HM) and she says that it was pure luck. Everytime I do this boss I know I'm just going to get angry, but in order to progress any further I need to do it..

In same boat atm , got to Titan yesterday (Ifrit & Garuda passed straight away ;P) will give more tries ofc , i hope gear check limitations that planned in future will helps ;)

Sadly enough it's not peoples gear, simply because skill > gear. The main issue is people quitting after one wipe and this is what makes PUG's so hard to actually do it with. Every attempt you'll be with a new group, back to square one.
I'm yet to actually get a troll in Titan.

Yea ppl's usually flee after 1~2 wipe , lame i was in party that all was cool , we passed Heart stage as 7/8 ppl's since BLM was bad and got hitted by different moves which raped him , 1 player asked him to quit "pretty gently" but BLM did not - so party disbanded. About skill>gear it about is , BUT Titan pretty hard and it also DPS race , different gear have diff stats on it so lv 70> lv 60 , that why i like to think good/skilled player usually represented by gear he wear .

That's a common one..
Literately he had 10% left then I got hit with a 90k error now I cannot load the world list..
Why does SE torture me so much. :(

It is the gear junkies that ruin the experience for me. I had one group where the tank just completely lost agro and Titan came running for me of course. We wipe and then the idiots turn around and say "oh i know why we failed it is because one of us have level 45 gear on". No it was not due to the gear it was due to the teams inability to play their part. As long as you learn to dodge and contribute when needed top tier gear is not necessary.

In Australia with bad ping and I've killed Titan.

The thing that did it for me is realizing that the server updates your position at the beginning of a spell cast, so instead of trying to run really far away and still getting hit , its much better to take a tiny step out and cast a spell as soon as you can (even if you cancel it immediately after)
Since I've started doing this, I never get hit unless it's my own fault.

Actually that works and I'm not sure why. :/ I've found out that standing right behind him tends to make you avoid 90% of his AoE anyway, and if you do get hit you wont be hit off.
