Fighting Chocobo bug..

Hello it seems there is either a bug for the Chocobos we call to fight with us or you guys are just punishing us for leveling or ranking up our Chocobos... Rank 1 Chocobo has 30 mins to fight with you before it goes away. Rank 2 has 27 mins, Rank 3 has 25:30 and rank 4 chocobos have 24 mins.. It should be going up not going lower... This has to be a bug if not... Well thats just stupid. =/

I think it's correct as it is. I think twenty something minutes on highest levels is enough even for the toughest fights and if not you can always call it again if really needed.

So it will stop going down at some point? I mean its not going to go down to just like 1 min or 5 mins out at the highest rank? Still seems like one should be rewarded for leveling up not punished. I'm new and don't have alot of gil really, But having a chocobo to fight with me reminds me of your NPC in FFXI, which as you leveled stayed with you longer and longer. :)

I feel that the cut in time is alright. I understand how you feel and having a chocobo out longer would be awesome but I have a feeling that it would become overpowered. That is not to say the chocobos are OP in the first place lol. I'm just stating that down the road, higher level chocobos out for long periods of time might cause problems for other players (chocoobo users and non).

Actually it's Rank 0 that have a 30min timer.
Rank 1 has 28.30 (-90 seconds)
Rank 2 has 27.00 (-90 seconds)
Rank 3 has 25.30 (-90 seconds)
Rank 4 has 24.00 (-90 seconds)

If the trend continues, we can expect:
Rank 5 has 22.30 (-90 seconds)
Rank 6 has 21.00 (-90 seconds)
Rank 7 has 19.30 (-90 seconds)
Rank 8 has 18.00 (-90 seconds)
Rank 9 has 16.30 (-90 seconds)
Rank 10 has 15.00 (-90 seconds)

I SUSPECT that this is intended to put less strain on your funds whilst you're leveling the Chocobo. And that there'll eventually be some kind of buff you can get/earn (possibly via Chocobo costume pieces?) to increase the uptime.

...but yeah. Kind of annoying. At least whenever the server economy is low enough to make shelling out for stacks of 99 Greens noticeable... :(
