Mis-Meld Forgiveness
Problem: Melded most of my gil onto the wrong Armorer's Gown because I forgot I had two and one of them was HQ. NQ Gown is spirit bound by 9%.
Solutions:
- Sell to NPC: :(
- Spiritbond the item and convert to materia: Ain't nobody got time fo dat! :(
- Use the item: the HQ gown has better stats overall. :/
I can't sell the item, even though it's comparable to HQ, I can't give the item to a friend... It's depressingly useless. Please implement a system so we can recover from a mis-meld like this.
Before I get trolly posts like "be more careful next time", or "it's your own fault", save it. I know I'm not the first nor last person to make this mistake, and it would be nice if you could redeem materia-melded gear for something other than pitiful pocket change barely enough for one teleport. I know there will also be people who outgrow their gear at middle-levels that might not want to NPC trash it, so such a system would help them as well.

Can't say it's happened to me since HQ gear has that funky symbol next to the name, but I know what you mean.
I kept a savings of NQ crafter AF thinking I'd bother spiritbinding it and it started filling up an entire retainer tab... I eventually just gave up and gave them to my GC for a couple thousand seals.

Well the goblin will remove the materia so you could infact trade it but yeah mostly that ones a wash. The only way to remove spiritbond is through the armour but since that is only for specific entry you might be kinda stuck with it. But having a system like you are suggesting would actually be removing a portion of the system that makes gear consumable and not flooding the market (More then it already is). Because while the system might be a one shot for oyu for others oh I have a pentameld apron then the i70 crafting gear released and then I sold my apron for millions. This recycle approach makes bsm arm crp gsm ltw all less effective. But bang out some cobalt with your +1~3 bond gear on you will be able to convert it in no time.
