Suggestion for Devs

I'm sure many are feeling this right now - running maintenance during prime time, not great, but OK, at least it's scheduled to be 2 hours. That's fine.

That said, it is not in your interest to run what is now 25 minutes over that time without posting an update. Your login servers are getting smashed by people trying to log in to servers that are still down, and they're getting pissed off to boot.

PLEASE be faster at updating the maintenance log. If it needs to take an extra 30 minutes, tell us. You shouldn't have a case where it's running 25 minutes over with absolutely no word. All it does is piss us off and strain your login servers. Just update your website.
