As the subject says, is this possible? I hate to leave my pc at the title screen or even when afk in fear of forgetting and putting 6 hours of stress on my system. Any insight would be great.

Just log out? It takes like 15 seconds to get from desktop to character select screen. If you're afk for 6 hours there's not really any need for you to be on that screen anyways.
