During most dungeon/instance runs I have, my screen will blackout for 3 seconds, and then I come back to a 1 frame per second frame rate, with super lag. Anyone know the cause, solution, or if this is already being addressed?

I think it's a GPU/CPU overheating issue. You should check your temperatures.
Do you have AMD? This happens to me when AMD catalyst trying to recover from driver errors, it flashes, does error sound, then bam! low fps.
This happens to nVidia video cards as well when:
- They overheat
- The Video Driver crashes
I've found that the later is the more prevalent.
Best guess, on my part, would be you need to upgrade you video drivers or you need to take it's clock speed down a notch. It could also be that your card is going bad... but lets keep our fingers crossed that it is not the case. =\
If AMD: I've heard their latest beta drivers are working really well.
If nVidia: Either their most recent driver, their latest Beta Driver, or 314.22 seems to work for me.
display drivers crash
it happens, lower some gfx it will stop
I have Nvidia. Just installed a core temperature monitor to be sure of things. I would just be surprised if a video driver crash is being caused by a small 4 person instance, and never the big 100 people fates I grind in.
This happens either because
a) the video card driver crashed
b) the video card overheated (or is physically malfunctioning)
