ff11 on ps2 had a ingame camera why not ff14 for ps3 or is there one already?

I think there is a camera, but it might work like the one in XI where you have to remove the HUD before it'd work. I haven't tried, personally, but to remove the HUD is R1 + Select.
My controls aren't default so you may have to fiddle around a little more but for me L2+Select toggles hud on/off and L2+Start takes a screenshot. (Hud on/off doesn't matter.) It often takes quite some time for the SS to finish. It may also be R1 instead of L1 for you because I customized my controls a lot. :x
