Dungeon re-spawn

In one of my first dungeons, I got too close to a boss and died. My fellow group members had to go for a little run around the block, but finally finished the boss who had less than a quarter health left when I died and I was revived.
My question is, should I have re-spawned and made my way back? Is this a situational decision depending on how far away I am and how healthy the boss is?

If you respawn during the fight, you still will be useless as you cannot reenter the area until the whole party has died and the boss resets.

Hope to God later a WHM or SCH has Swiftcast so they can insta rez.
I don't even have it myself...I don't wanna friggin' level all over again. -.-

If you're not tank or healer i would not respawn simply because they can finish the fight without 1 dps or healer could raise you depending on the boss mechanics.

After 15secs the boss room is closed, if you revive you will not get back for fight.

Appreciate the info folks. Good to know that one can't enter the room anyway even after respawn.

DD, not DPS. DPS is a combined stat, the meta is Damage dealer.

We've been down this road on Beta forums and we all know what happened there.
Pain and suffering to the masses. Let's just move on and enjoy the days.

FYI, Before level 28 Conjurer can't even Raise in battle.

Arcanist can, but Resurrection is level 22.

So if either of these situations apply to you go ahead and return if you die.
