WARNING Gil sellers now sending friend requests

I saw this topic on another forum. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/67805...eborn/67282985 It looks like they are attempting a new strategy. Spread this info around, get the word out.

Simple solution really. If you don't know the person, or they can't take a few moments to chat with you before shooting of a friend request, then do accept.

Seriously, I've never understood the blind friend requests that seem to be the popular thing to do in most modern MMO's. If you can't even be bothered to introduce yourself, why in the world do you think I'd want you as a friend?

Blind everything really, dunno if it happens for other classes as often, but I'm always getting blind LS and FC invites as a PLD! It really pisses me off that people can't take a few moments to introduce themselves, say hi and ask if I'd like more info about their whatever request. In the end I still won't join someone after a little chat, I must play with you and your LS for a time and see the overall picture. Not only how our combat melds together but how too is the communication, does everyone get along with each other, is the conversation in good spirits, etc...

my favorite is when people send me blind FC invites, and after I decline it, they spam me a few more times, then /tell me 'y u no acpt inv?'

I have received blind friend requests and FC requests. I started a thread on the FC request that I have been getting the last couple of weeks...I don't know if it's Gil sellers or just peeps who are trying to get their FC started...but really...there should be a block FC invites like on most games...And no I won't accept friend/FC requests without them even saying 1 word to me...that's just stupid.

On topic: yeah I don't take friend/party/FC invites that are shoved in my face without a word spoken to begin with, so nice try RMT spammers. I wonder what their logic is on the matter?

Off topic the blind FC invites get completely out of hand. In my case a friend of mine helped some strangers form a FC that went dead shortly after, so I joined it just to block out all the invites. Started making a whole lot of sense why she never left it.

Yeah, don't know if it's a gil seller or not, but me, my brother and a friend of mine all got a friend request yesterday from a person we didn't know, and he didn't reply to a message i sent, so i just declined the invite.

Lol did u ever try spamming massive friend request on Facebook?....7/10 accept you without even knowing you....kinda reminds me that South Park episode where the number of facebook friends was some kind of currency.
