Potions and Food need to be more useful

Hello FFXIV Community.
Right now we have the level 50 crafting potions heal for about a minor 560 HP and Mana? Which for a 2:30 minute cooldown that it has is very useless. The resistance and Stat boost potions last for 15 SECONDS which makes them completely useless since the cooldown is long 5 minutes. The potions and food have literally no use right now since nobody wants to waste money on buying something that will disappear the same second you die or something that offers a 15 second boost and has 5 minutes cooldown.

Long story short :

• Make potions heal more and have a lower cooldown
  Make Stat Boost / Resistance potions last longer . (5 Minute cooldown is fine if it lasts for like 2 minutes at least?)
  Make it so that the food buff is not remove upon dieing. (Lowering food duration wouldn't be an issue)
  Increase the efficiency of Healing / Mana potions
  Possibly add Crit/determination potions
