unexpected error (2)(8)

occurs randomly with no detail menu for me to investigate
didnt ever get in phase3/4

after it happens i have to reboot entire rig to play otherwise it prompts error in char select menu

ive reinstalled from disc and rolled back nvidia drivers to what they were back in ph3/4

looking for some suggestions

Really weird.
It doesn't sound something caused by the game, more like something on your PC since you are forced to reboot.
You could try closing some applications, even from the task manager, before trying to relog to understand if one of them is creating the issue.

going to try the new nvidia drivers after work, i think its the issue, on a fresh boot they crash and self right even on the rollback to the same ones i had during phase 3 that were fine
