Still cant update or play the game, no response from square

I still cannot play after the last update. SE will not respond to tickets, but they have time to charge my account.

I am a 1.0 user. I have tried every link I can find where SE provides a download link for the launcher and each time the launcher will not update. There are even times it errors on install (older patcher).

I have tried a few torrents just to get already updated game files, but as my launcher version wont update, the system cannot find the downloaded files.
I was able to play by downloading someones files before the previous patch, but that install broke after the update.

Is there anyone that has experienced this or that can help me fix this? Its been over two weeks with no response from square.

What happens when you try to update, do you get an error message? Also, you should verify that you don't have a virus or some sort of malware on your computer.

Have you tried to do a complete re-install? I probably wouldn't trust torrents to be honest.
