Subscription question

So I subbed to the game and they charged me 1 dollar.... What? Wait what? ??? ... ? I don't get it? I thought they don't charge me 12.99? until October 6 (Which is when my free trial dies)

They didn't charge you $1.00. They pre-authorized your card to make sure it's valid. The $1.00 will fall off of your account within 3-5 business days.

Every month. Unless you subscribed for 6 months, then you'll be charged for all 6 months (6 * $13 = $78) initially and will be billed again in 6 months.

Ohhh, now I get it! They do this so you can pay less if you know you're gonna play this for a long time! I bought 13 dollars for 180 days, just saying.
