Can't find my friends all of a sudden

Hi everyone,

I've searched a few pages of the forum and can't see anyone else currently experiencing this issue. Me and my friends play together on Phoenix (EU) and have been going about that quite happily for the last week or so.

I deleted my character and created a new one, uploaded to Phoenix (EU) again (which I've double and triple-checked I did correctly) but now I can't see my friends and they can't see me. Anyone have any idea what's gone wrong and where?
