Aura is Recruiting Talented and Friendly People

Hello to all! I'd like to tell you about Aura, a Free Company on the Gilgamesh server of Final Fantasy XIV.

Aura is an ideal. I believe very strongly that excellence and community can coexist. It is thought by some that in an MMO you either have to be casual or hardcore, and that to walk that line is to flirt with disaster. I do not hold to that. I have always enjoyed playing with friends that I know by name, rather than a guild that is merely a list of classes and levels.

Aura is going to remain a rather small company, with a hard cap of around 100 members.

We're in need of 50's of all sorts of classes, though lower level members will be considered if you seem like you'll be a solid contributor to the company. If you're interested please go here and apply:

Hi, i like the idea of hard capping 100 members in that way, people we get to know each other better and will most likely become a small group of friends rather than just a company with people in it to randomly run with.


my question is, in what timezone is most of your players based?

Also, what day or time do you usually do raids?

A lot of us are in EST, but not all. As for raids we haven't started yet due to needing to get people geared (fresh FC and all that), but probably going to be raiding during the week, running about 3 groups eventually, and during the evening/night, but not too late. We have a few members with Binding Coil experience, including myself, right now we're focused on getting people ready. We had the choice of either raiding with people we don't particularly like, or raiding with friends and having it take a bit longer to get started. We chose the latter.

My time spent in Aura has been incredibly enjoyable, and the focus on friendship and community is something I haven't seen in any other guilds.

I see. I am from gmt+8 so im not sure if i can go raiding with you guys but i definitely want to join. Though not sure that if i am on maybe all of you are sleeping already xD
