Point of Phil Stone Requirement for Relic?
I'm not really one for making things ez-mode or overly simplistic.. but I simply don't get the point of the 900 stone requirement for a relic. The 1.0 quest was more lenghty, but it had a great climax feeling to it. You made your base, farmed hamelt, did speed runs, and eventually it was go win two fights to get your weapon forged in battle.
The current quest... you go do the hardest primal fight in the game--one many FC's are currently unable to win--and then.... its 8 hours of farming the easiest level 50 dungeon? How is that epic/challenging/interesting?
I get that they want to involve all parts of the game in the quest, but this just seems so trivial. It takes longer to farm these stones in a "Perfect" group than it does to do the entire rest of the quest combined. With some friends, I could easily wake up Saturday, decide I want brauvera, and be done with titan a few hours later. Only to have to go spam castrum or ak or... well nothing else is time efficient.
I think the +1 price is reasonable, as it is the entire step.
Maybe, leave it where it is for your first relic, but for subsequent trips through the quest, lower the cost to 300? It just seems silly to have players who have proven themselves able to complete some of the game's more challenging content engage in so many hours of such trivial play.
