Lodestone Alerts?

Hi all,

I keep getting alerts (a red exclamation mark) on my character in the Lodestone, but when I click it, I just get the usual profile page.

Does anybody know what the alerts represent? Is it possible to view/clear them?

I has something to do with activity of your friends on Lodestone - posting the message and such - clicking on the icon will clear it actually.

I think it may be a little broken right now.

I assumed it was a notice about friend or FC activity, or a news item update, too. (That's what's on the page we get when we click the "!" badge.) But a later check showed the badge had reappeared yet none of that had changed. (I compared screen shots...) Sometimes the badge reappears within minutes. Other times it takes over half an hour.

There's a community wall on other pages, but it updates frequently without triggering the badge.

So it seems to be either alerting us to things that change that we can't see, or maybe just alerting us that our info was re-synched from the game worlds even when nothing changed.

Ah, cool. I'll just ignore it for now.
