Are there any actual quests related to this event?

Ive not been able to find anything more than the decorations, the specific fate and its drops as well as the associated vendor for all different colours of bikini's and sparklers.

Are there anything else i may be missing?

I have the sole achievement for this event, as well as all bikini's and a bunch of sparklers.

That's all it's there. You'll also receive a new title for that achievement which you can set in your profile to be displayed.

Displayed? To myself? Nobody else can see titles.

No no - everyone can see that in your "profile card" when they use Examine option on you in game.
